Naga Chaitanya Sunil Multi-Starrer Movie Titled Thadaka

Another multi-starrer film which is in making for a while has got his title. Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sunil in the lead roles, it is the Telugu remake of Tamil hit ‘Vettai’. The makers, who are contemplating over its title for some time, have finally finalized it.
The buzz is that the movie has been tentatively titled as ‘ Thadaka’. The movie, which is in final leg of shooting, is progressing in Vizag at a brisk pace. Major portions of the flick will be wrapped up with this schedule. Dolly, who earlier directed ‘Konchem Istham Konchem Kastham’, is directing this film.
Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the flick which has music by SS Thaman. Tamannaah Bhatia and Andrea Jeremiah play love interests of Naga Chaitanya and Sunil respectively.

As Ram Charan is a new entry into Bollywood arena, director Apoorva Lakhia is a man of concern on how the young hero’s onscreen chemistry with senior Priyanka Chopra will look like. While Priyanka is the glamdoll of B-town who shared superb romance with many top heroes, Zanjeer remake is a different project for her to deal a kid like Ram Charan.
Surprisingly, Apoorva Lakhia says that chemistry of Priyanka and Ram Charan was looking 2,000 times better than what he had expected. “They both are looking surprisingly refreshing onscreen,” Lakhia says. The film has shaped up well and producers Reliance Entertainment, Amit Mehra and Flying Turtle Films are happy with the release of Zanjeer planned on April 12, 2013.

Aishwarya Rai wins Most Flabulous Actor award

The former Miss World and beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won an award for ‘Most flabulous actor in Bollywood’. Being plumpest actress among all the contemporary actresses, she made it to the top receiving highest number of votes defeating Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan and Zareen Khan.
According to a website poll, Aishwarya emerges out as a clear winner with 30 percent votes. Sonakshi Sinha with 24 percent votes becomes first runner-up. Zarine Khan and Vidya Balan trail behind with 21 percent and 19 percent votes respectively.
The website conducted a poll survey on chubby actresses of Bollywood mentioning that the award will belong to the female actor who carries herself with great confidence despite of her increased weight.

A peppy Punjabi number by singers Jazzy B and Honey Singh has notched up over one million views online in just 80 hours.Released online Dec 28, the song ‘This Party Gettin Hot’, is ranked among the world’s Top 10 shared videos across networking platforms.
‘This Party Gettin Hot’, a special party anthem, is the latest fad on YouTube. It is ranked among the world’s Top-10 most shared videos on social networking platforms like Facebook and Twitter within a few hours of launch,” a spokesman for the singers said.
Dinesh Aulakh, director, Speed Records said: “On Dec 28, the day when the video was released, it created waves and there was massive hype already created on online communities.”
“The video has been so far viewed in more than 150 countries. It is now being ranked as the No.1 most watched video in India on YouTube. It is among the Top-5 most watched videos in UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand over the last few days.”
Jazzy B says they never expected such an incredible response.”We felt online launch was the most aggressive promotion as compared to conventional music releases. Teaser and promo release further helped in building up the hype, but we never expected the response would be tremendous,” said Jazzy B.
The combined viewership of teaser, promo and the music video on YouTube had crossed the figure of two million till Monday,” he said.

Playboy Hugh Hefner marries his runaway bride Crystal Harris

Hugh Hefner’s celebrating the new year as a married man once again. The 86-year-old Playboy magazine founder exchanged vows with his “runaway bride,” Crystal Harris, at a private Playboy Mansion ceremony on New Year’s Eve. Harris, a 26-year-old “Playmate of the Month” in 2009, broke off a previous engagement to Hefner just before they were to be married in 2011.
Playboy said on Tuesday that the couple celebrated at a New Year’s Eve party at the mansion with guests that included comic Jon Lovitz, Gene Simmons of KISS and baseball star Evan Longoria.
The bride wore a strapless gown in soft pink, Hefner a black tux. Hefner’s been married twice before but lived the single life between 1959 and 1989. “Happy New Year from Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hefner!” the Playboy magazine publisher tweeted early on Tuesday.
The message accompanied a photograph of Hefner, 86, wearing what appeared to be purple silk pajamas under a black bathrobe and snuggling his bride, 26, still wearing her pale pink wedding dress. He also wore his trademark captain’s hat.
An hour earlier, Hefner posted a picture of himself in a tuxedo with his bride under an arch of pink and white flowers at the wedding ceremony in the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, California.”Crystal & I married on New Year’s Eve in the Mansion with Keith as my Best Man. Prabhu Deva’s ABCD in Telugu and Tamil

Prabhu deva’s Bollywood entertainer titled Anybody Can Dance (ABCD) is being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu versions too and will be released simultaneously in all the three languages.
The Tamil version has been titled as ‘Aadalam Boys Chinna Dance’ while it will be released with the same Hindi title in Telugu. The film that deals with dance as a central theme is directed by Remo D’Souza that has Prabhudeva in the lead.
Sachin Jigar composed the musical scores for this first 3D dance movie of India. UTV Motion Pictures has produced the film ABCD lavishly and the Hindi version trailers released a while ago earned good response.

Dabangg 2 13 Days Box Office Collections

Arbaaz Khan’s first directorial venture Dabangg 2 is going rock steady at the Indian Box Office in the second week. The Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer is doing very good business on weekdays.
And the romantic action flick is expected to cross Rs 150 crore mark by the end of the second week. Dabangg 2, which had collected Rs 127.78 crores in 10 days, continued to keep the bells ringing at the domestic Box Office and raked in Rs 4.5 crores on Monday.
Due to New Year day, the business of the movie showed a big jump on Tuesday with its collection reaching approximately Rs 7.5 crores nett. However, Dabangg 2 has collected Rs 139.5 crores nett at the desi Box Office in 12 days.

The movie has two days to complete the second week and our trade analyst feel that it would cross Rs 150 crore mark in the country.

Nayak Beats Mahesh Babu’s SVSC

Pongal season always has a special place for Tollywood makers as it will see the releases of highly anticipated movies! This pongal too has already grabbed the attention as two biggies Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s ‘Nayak’ and Victory Venkatesh, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’(SVSC) are locking horns at box office.
Trade pundits estimate that ‘Nayak’ will surpass ‘SVSC’ first day collections by a margin as the former is going to have as much as 15 benefit shows in Hyderabad. The number may even go up as the release date gets closer. They also predict that ‘Nayak’ – releasing on Jan 9 has the advantage to draw huge openings over ‘SVSC’ which is releasing on Jan 11 during holidays. But, one shouldn’t under estimate Mahesh Babu who is capable of drawing huge openings irrespective of the fate of the film.

Nani joins back to Jenda Pai Kapiraju sets

Nani is currently shuffling between the sets of Krishna Vamsi directed Paisa and film Jenda Pai Kapiraju. After shooting for a schedule earlier few months ago, the unit of Jenda Pai Kapiraju has now resumed the shoot with a new schedule.
The film taking shape in the direction of Samuthirakani carries an underlying social message. Nani is pairing up with Amala Paul in the film and it is produced by K S Srinivasan. Sukumar who earned critical applauses for the photography in Gajaraju is cranking the camera while Prakash is scoring the music.
Jenda Pai Kapiraju was earlier shot in Chalakudy, Goa and now, it will be shot in Hyderabad. The bilingual Tamil/Telugu film will hit the screens in 2013 latter half.

The first posters of ‘Chennai Express’ is out. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. Chennai Express tells the story of a man who travels from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the journey forms the crux of the movie. Interestingly, this is for the first time that Shetty would be working without his close friend Ajay Devgn, with whom he has done eight films.

Mahesh Babu Forces Many Changes in script

Going by the craze and market calculations, young star heroes are safely made to get trapped in ‘Image Cage.’  Although growing in stardom with each super hit movie, none of these so called stars are ready to experiment the new format of commercial cinemao to set a new trend. Reason is, they aren’t ready to take risk when standards of competition are set so high in Tollywood and each film has become the matter of prestige. This is where intellectual film maker Krish has to face trouble for ‘Shivam.’
As per the reports, Prince was spellbound by the line narrated by Krish. But, there is no way Mahesh can accept concept as it is because of stardom constraints. As 2013 is going to be a tougher battle for top heroes, even Krish has to understand that playing with mahesh babu’s charisma would do direct damage for total commercial output at BO. That is why, Mahesh forced Krish to make plenty of changes in script and director has to oblige.

King Nagarjuna’s nephew Sushanth and upcoming heroine Shanvi are playing the lead roles in the movie ‘Adda’. The film is nearing completion. The movie unit started shooting in July and the talkie part is now complete. Only three songs remain to be shot. Sai Karthik is directing the film and the movie is being jointly produced by Sri Nag Corporation Naga Susheela and Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao.
Anoop Rubens has composed the film’s music and the film’s audio launch will take place in February. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Tanikella Bharani, Raghu Babu, Nagineedu and Thagubothu Ramesh are playing key roles in this movie.

‘SVSC’ Release Date to Change?

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s ‘Naayak’ is gearing up for release on 9th January and it was officially announced by the makers. The movie is going to be released in maximum number of screens everywhere in the state which include A,B,C and D centers.
On the other side, Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ is slated for release on 11th January. This movie is also planned to release in record number of theaters. The movie will get sufficient number of theaters for release in A and B centers. However, in C and D centers, where only single digit number of theaters are available,
‘svsc’ is striving hard to get more number of screens for its release. So, it is reportedly learnt that the makers of ‘svsc’ are thinking about releasing the movie on either 12th or on 14th of January, by then, ‘Naayak’ completes three days of run and vacates some theaters for the screening of ‘svsc’. Anyways, we need to wait for the official confirmation of release date of the movie from the makers.
Dusky beauty Samantha and homely beauty Anjali are doing the female leads of this highly anticipated multi-starrer. Micky J.Meyer has composed cool and melodious songs for this family entertainer. Srikanth Addala has directed the movie while Dil Raju has produced it on the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
