Power Star Pawan Kalyan is considered as the No. 1 actor in the
Telugu film industry. The actor is not only popular on big screens, but
also on small screens. Yes! His Blockbuster movie Gabbar Singh has
proved it.
The Harish Shankar directed flick has garner the highest amount of TRP ratings, beating the previous record of super-hit film Magadheera starring Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Aggarwal in leads. Ace director SS Rajamouli’s movie Magadheera, which was released on July 31, 2009, had occupied the first place among the TRP ratings with 22 points.
Although several big Telugu movies had been aired on the different TV channels for three and half years, no film was able to surpass this mark. Now, Gabbar Singh has done. Gabbar Singh, which was the remake of Salman Khan’s Hindi movie Dabangg, was aired on Gemini TV during this Sankranthi and it has registered highest amount of TRP ratings.
The Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Hassan starrer has topped the TRP ratings’ chart with 24 points. The film has pushed down Magadheera to the second place. This is the stamina of Power Star. However, Pawan Kalyan has had very good time in the year 2012 as his two releases like Gabbar Singh and Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu have become super-hot films.
The actor has once again proved that he is the real king of Tollywood Box Office. Now, Pawan Kalyan is teaming up with ace director Trivikram Srinivas for his new movie, which will feature Samantha alongside him.
