Kamal Haasan is gearing up to set new trends in the Film Industry with his magnum opus Vishwaroopam and the star actor has confirmed the release of his latest film Vishwaroopam on DTH.
Vishwaroopam will be premiered on DTH 8 hours before the release of the movie in theaters. Even though Kamal feels, it is a different experience watching the movie in theater compared to home, dared to screen the films using DTH operators and planned to charge Rs.1000 from customers and people will not be able to record the flick due to encryption.
However, theater owners have not accepted to this DTH release and the Theater Owner Association head Abhirami Ramanathan says, “We are against Vishwaroopam’s DTH release and not on Kamal Haasan’s film.
Meanwhile, industry people also doubt on a controversy might erupt on the film, as Vishwaroopam is taken on Muslims and terrorism, close to recently released Vijay-AR Murugadoss’s Thuppakkki, which faced protests by Muslim organizations seeking deletion of some scenes.
