Naiyandi is the title for Dhanush

Dhanush has signed up for a film with director Sarkunam titled ‘Sotta Vazhakutty’.The latest update is that the title of the film which was to be ‘Naiyandi’ and not what was announced earlier.Also, the search for the heroine has been on for some time now.
Names like Amala Paul, Samantha and Hansika were suggested for the role while the movie was going through pre production. Now, the director has finalised the lead female role.
When asked about this, the director said, “Yes, we are currently in talks with Nazriya but we have not signed her up yet. Everything will be confirmed within two days.
The shoot for ‘Naiyandi’ is to begin in February. This rural comedy entertainer was pushed back to now because Dhanush had his hands full with Bharat Bala’s ‘Mariyaan’ and his Hindi debut ‘Raanjhnaa.Dhanush’s latest tweet said, “Starting Sargunam’s film from February second week. It will be an out and out commercial entertainer. Cant wait to do some comedy.”
