Actress Sonakshi Sinha who has done an item number called ‘Thank God
It’s Friday’ in Sajid Khan’s ‘Himmatwala’, is soon going perform the
song live at one of Mumbai’s famous night club.
According to a source close to the project, Sajid has planned a gala event to launch the song and he wanted Sonakshi to perform live during the event. When he asked Sonakshi about his idea, she happily agreed to it and now the fans will get to see Sonakshi’s live performance on the song.
Interestingly, Sajid who used to be a disc jockey before joining the film industry will play the role of DJ again for Sonakshi Sinha’s perfromance.
“Sajid will do his homework and get a hang of the equipment. Sonakshi will be the centre of attraction at this promotional event, and it will be an evening to remember,” informs the source.
When contacted, Sajid also confirmed the reports of him and Sonakshi performing live at the night club.
‘Himmatwala’, a remake of superhit 1983 film of the same name, stars Ajay Devn and Tamannaah Bhatia in the leading roles. The film is slated to release on March 29.
