It’s been long since Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Lootera’, starring
Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, went on floors. However, there was so
much uncertainty regarding the film’s release date as it had been pushed
back more than thrice because of some unpredictable circumstances.
But finally, it seems the makers have succeeded in locking up the release date and they have decided to release their film on July 5.
While attending a recent media event, Vikram confirmed his film’s release date saying, “It’s going to be July 5.”
There were also reports that there is still a song needed to be shot and it may postpone the film’s release date again. But the director refused the reports thoroughly. “It’s ready and it will release on July 5,” stated he.
‘Lootera’ is said to be romantic film with the backdrop of 1960’s West Bengal. The film is a joint production venture of Ekta Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap.
