Vikram Prabhu’s New Movie Sigaram Thodu

UTV Motion Pictures’ next Tamil film is Sigaram Thodu starring actor Vikram Prabhu in the lead. The film has been written and directed by Gaurav of Thoonga Nagaram fame. The pre-production work for Sigaram Thodu has commenced and the film’s shooting is expected to begin from April 2013.
As a studio, it has been our constant endeavour to bring across the right mix of content for our consumers like we have done with our Hindi slate. South is a key market for us and we will be announcing an equally eclectic slate this side as well,” said G Dhananjayan, Chief South Business, Studios, Disney UTV.
Dhananjayan Govind also expressed his happiness over teaming up with Vikram Prabhu, who has become popular overnight with his Kumki. On Twitter, he wrote, “We are happy to work with Vikram Prabhu back to back in Ivan Veramadhini (Saravanan’s project) and Sigaram Thodu.” Settai, a remake of Hindi superhit film Delhi Belly and directed by R Kannan, will be UTV’s first release in Tamil this February, while Sigaram Thodu will hit theatres in December.
