Nagarjuna-Nayantara starrer film 'Greeku Veerudu' had its tralier
launch function at the Annapurna studios in Hyderabad. The director of
the film Dasarth, producer D Siva Prasad Reddy and the cameraman Anil
Bandari attended the event.
The producer of the film said that the movie will be released on
April 19, 2013, and the audio will be released in the month of March. He
also recalled his 27 years association with Nagarjuna in their earlier
films together.
The producer also spoke of the actress and the director of the
film, he said: "Nayanthara, has co-operated with us like a family member
inspite of busy schedules. Dasarath is an excellent director, the
story-line of the movie is different and the film is a family
entertainer."
The director of the film Dasarath, who made a debut in films with
'Santhosham' starring Nagarjuna thanked the actor at the event for
associating with him for the second time, in 'Greeku Veerudu'. He also
spoke of the storyline of the film, "the hero in the film is an event
manager born and brought up overseas, he visits India for the first time
and the series of events follow is the story", said the director.
He also recorded that the choreography by Ganesh master is the
highlight of the film as well the music composed by Thaman is the a
special attraction.
The talented actor Nagarjuna said that, "Santhosham has been one
of the best films his career. The film was both critically acclaimed and
a commercial success. He also praised by saying, "It is a joy to know
Dasarth since our last film together".
An elated Nag confessed that he is overwhelmed at the response
the trailer of the film has got. "I have heard that the audience have
liked my look as young, but it is by the hard work of all the
departments like makeup, costumes, camera so I thank all the
departments". He also spoke of his character in the film, I play and NRI
who comes to India, my co-actor Nayantara introduces my character in
the film to the values and traditions in the film.
The film team is confident that the film will be a commercial success.
