Kanye On Obama: I Don’t Give A F–k What The President’s Got To Say

Kanye On Obama Kanye On Obama: I Dont Give A F k What The Presidents Got To SayWe’ve already brought you some choice Kanye West quotes from his rant at a London concert on Saturday, but there’s one we missed. The rapper sized up one of his biggest and, certainly, most famous critics by saying that he doesn’t really care what “the president” thought of him.
“I don’t give a f–k what the president’s got to say,” the rapper intoned in a freestyle-like screed that also included digs at Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, the Grammys and “business people.”
Barack Obama has twice called West a “jackass,” mostly in reference to West’s 2009 interruption of Taylor Swift at the VMAs.
“I’ve got love for Hov but I ain’t f–king with that ‘Suit & Tie,’” West also said, dinging Timberlake’s comeback single which features Jay-Z. Jay-Z and West are longtime collaborators and close friends, so it’s a bit surprising to see the former in the latter’s crosshairs. Some have said West meant for “suit and tie” to be taken as a metaphor for corporations and corporate mentalities, but he had to have known how it would be taken.
West also appeared to end his set in a fit of screams (see below), wrapping “Touch the Sky” and sending his microphone skidding into the audience. Surprised gasps can be heard in the fan-made video below.

Karan Johar turns teacher again

Karan Johar turns teacher a Karan Johar turns teacher againYoung actor Saqib Saleem, who is playing the lead role in Yash Raj Films’ Mere Dad Ki Maruti (MDKM), seems to have made an impression with the right people. Even before the film’s release, Karan Johar has taken him under his wing. Last year, Karan mentored three debutants — Varun Dhawan,
Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt — who acted in his film, Student Of The Year, and they have all managed to make their place in the industry. Now, he has signed Saqib for his next, Bombay Talkies, and is guiding him the same way.
A source close to the actor reveals, “Saqib is part of not one but two films with big banners — YRF and Dharma Productions. He doesn’t want to go wrong in any way. Karan is now mentoring him for the promotions of MDKM.”
The source adds, “Karan saw a few rushes of the film and felt that Saqib has spunk. After that, he was keen to cast him in his own movie. He is giving Saqib tips on how to go about with the promotions, give interviews to the media and present himself
in public.”
So far, Karan has given the Delhi boy a lot of valuable advice. “It is really sweet of him to help Saqib. For a newcomer who is a complete outsider, this is a great way to understand the industry better. Everyone has seen how well the debutants of Karan’s previous film did. Now, Saqib is looked at in exactly the same manner.”
MKDM will hit theatres on March 15. Bombay Talkies releases on May 3. The source adds, “Everyone’s hoping that MDKM gets a good response and Saqib, along with his co-star Rhea (Chakraborty), does well.”

Censor block film critical of Mamata, Stalin, director sees ‘political pressure’

Censors block film Censor block film critical of Mamata, Stalin, director sees political pressureThe Censor Board has refused to clear a Bengali film for taking potshots at the swearing-in ceremony of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and the Singur movement that forced the Tatas to exit the state. Starring rebel Trinamool Congress MP Kabir Suman, Kangal Malsat (War cry of the poor) is directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay. It is based on a book written by eminent litterateur Mahasweta Devi’s son Nabarun Bhattacharya.
“The way the honourable CM’s oath taking ceremony has been shown seems distortion of history and may hurt many common people of Bengal and create sensation,” the letter issued by the Central Board of Film Certification to the film’s producers, says.
The film shows a person watching the swearing-in ceremony with disdain. The letter says, “The way departure of Tata Company was uttered in the film, it seemed to malign or at least look down upon a significant movement of a civic society. The treatment of the film with unnecessary use of abusive language, sexuality and casual approach in portraying social movements may hurt the sentiments of many people in our society,” it said.
The letter claimed that the portrayal of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin has been done so irresponsibly in the film that the dogmatic statement might hurt the sentiments of many of his supporters and create unrest during public screening.
Kangal Malsat has been sent to the film certification appellate tribunal for a review.
Mukhopadhyay, whose first film, Herbert, could not be screened at the Nandan auditorium due to opposition from the then Left Front government, said Kangal Malsat was not cleared by the Board because of “some political pressure” as it showed Mamata’s swearing-in ceremony and there was reference to the Singur movement and exit of Tatas. One of the characters, Dandabayas, played by Suman, says in the film, “Just see how the Tatas have cut a sorry figure. Now there are so many committees. They are turning Kolkata into London. Are they oxen?”
“As a filmmaker I made a film which I wanted to. Now if it has some political undercurrents it doesn’t mean those in power have the power to ban the film. They are trying to gag us,” Mukhopadhyay said.
Haranath Chakraborty, film maker and member of the Board, said that he was against the release of the film since it contained abusive language. “How can you pass such a film?” he asked. Chakraborty is also one of the key members of Mamata’s cultural think-tank group. “It is clear under whose directions the film was denied release,” the director said.
Film makers like Buddhadeb Dasgupta have questioned the role of the Board. “Who will decide what is obscene or what is not — Censor Board or film maker or audience? Even my films had problems with the Board,” Dasgupta said.

PSLV-C20 launches seven satellites, Pranab witnesses event

India's polar satellite launch vehicle continued with its success streak on Monday, launching Indo-French satellite Saral and six other satellites from Austria, Britain, Canada and Denmark. The 23rd launch of PSLV-C20 — the 22nd consecutive success — also marked the second highest number of satellites being flown in a launch vehicle by the Indian Space Research Organization (Isro). The launch was delayed by five minutes because of a possible interference of space debris.

President Pranab Mukherjee and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy were among those who witnessed the launch at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota, 100km north of Chennai. The 44.4m PSLV carrying a payload weighing 668.5kg lifted off from the launch pad at 6.01pm, five minutes later than the scheduled time of 5.56pm.

Saral, built by Isro, would study the ocean surface and environment using two French devices — ARgos and ALtila, based on the principle of radar. The other satellites riding piggyback are two micro-satellites UniBRITE and BRITE from Austria and AAUSAT3 from Denmark and STRaND from the UK, besides a microsatellite (NEOSSat) and a mini satellite (SAPPHIRE) from Canada. Isro had postponed the SARAL launch from December last year after it detected some technical inconsistencies.

Zilla Ghaziabad 3 Days Collections

Zilla Ghaziabad1 Zilla Ghaziabad 3 Days CollectionsBollywood movie Zilla Ghaziabad has done a decent collection at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. But the Sanjay Dutt, Vivek Oberoi and Arsad Warsi starrer has failed to beat another new release Kai Po Che starring new comers like Sushant Singh Rajput and Rajkumar Yadav in leads.
It has landed in the second place, while the latter topped the collection chart. Zilla Ghaziabad, which released in a large number of theatres on February 22, registered very good occupancy in single screens across the country on Friday, while it had very low response in multiplexes. Overall, the movie has performed very well in mass circuits like Bihar, CP, CI, UP and Rajasthan.
The Anand Kumar directed flick was expected to show a big jump on Saturday. Instead of going upwards, Zila Ghaziabad witnessed decline in its business on the second day. And on Sunday, the business of the movie went up, but it was below the expected mark. It has collected Rs 10.75 crores nett at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend.
Its breakup is Rs 3.50 cr on Fri, Rs 3.25 cr on Sat and Rs 4 cr on Sun. However, Zilla Ghaziabad was a most-awaited action entertainer of the year 2012. The movie boasts of popular star cast and its makers had massive promotions for it. But the film got negative reviews from the film critics. Besides this, it got eclipsed by the flick Kai Po Che wave across major circuits. Trade experts feel that these two reasons cost its producers a lot.

Kapu and Kamma’s boycotted Prabhas Raju ?

prabhas movie Kapu and Kammas boycotted Prabhas Raju ?These days media is trying to bring out sensational angle in each and every aspect. If a film becomes flop media thrashes the hero and if it becomes a hit it tries to throw mud at others. Recent hit Mirchi has been doing well at the box office with support from all the sections of audience. However, some sections of media is trying to create caster controversies using Mirchi’s success.
As per them Prabhas’s increasing stardom is not going down well with Kapus and Kammas, who have been dominating Telugu film industry from so long. Therefore media people belonging to Kapu and Kamma communities are spreading false rumors about Prabhas stamina, is what they allege.
How ridiculous? Do really people watch films keeping the hero’s caste in mind? Did Mirchi collect 33 crore rupees in two weeks with two communities boycotting it? If so should we say Mirchi is Raju’s hit and Naayak is Kapu’s hit and SVSC is Kamma hit? Where do these stupid logics come from?
This is just a baseless allegation from few media circles who love to churn out masala items for their survival. Of course heroes do get support from people belonging to their community. But a film’s success is beyond these caste equations and a hero’s range can neither be suppressed nor glorified from a section of media. All depends in the numbers and crowd pulling abilities of that respective hero.

Talking to IANS, Rajendra Prasad said,
Only if we make quality films will the audiences be ready to watch them. As much as they want to be entertained, they wouldn’t mind a good film once in a while as they are mostly hungry for it.” The actor added, “If audiences were not eager to watch quality films then films such as Aa Naluguru, Mithunam and Mee Sreyobhilashi wouldn’t have been successful.”
When asked about whether quality films are financially successful, Rajendra Prasad said, “It might be successful if it has a wider release. Most of these films are backed by small producers, who find it difficult to even release in other states besides their own. Only if big production houses support these films can they rake in the moolah.” The 56-year-old is currently busy with upcoming Telugu comedy-drama Noothi Lo Kappalu. “This is also one of those films I am proud to be part of.

as well.”

The Truth Behind Mahesh-Samantha Romance

mahesh babu samantha The Truth Behind Mahesh Samantha RomanceAs he arrives at his office on a small bike, one can never imagine that this simple man is the director of one of this year’s biggest hits — Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) starring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh. In fact, Srikanth Addala, who hails from Relangi village, near Tanuku, West Godavari district, comes from a world that is far removed from films. A post graduate in MSc Physics, who discontinued his PhD from IIT Delhi, his entry into showbiz was the result of an innate desire he felt to do something creative.
“Right from my high school days, I was interested in art and literature. I used to go to our village library to read magazines and books on Telugu literature. I watched the cult movie, Sagara Sangamam, several times. I realised that people love stories of human relationships and human values. That’s when it struck me that I can reach out to people with such stories only through cinema,” says Srikanth, who was keen on completing his education before making any risky career move.
After MSc, Srikanth joined IIT Delhi, but his passion for cinema soon brought him to Hyderabad. “I discontinued my course after discussing it with my family, who happened to be very encouraging. I was confident about this move as even if I didn’t make a mark in movies, I always knew I could fall back on my academic background,” he says.
After months of expected struggle, Srikanth finally got his break with an opportunity to assist director VV Vinayak for the Chiranjeevi-starrer Tagore in 2003. Then, through a common friend, he met producer Dil Raju, in what he calls a “turning point” of his career. Srikanth worked as an assistant director in Arya and Bommarillu, both produced by Dil Raju, who was impressed with his skills and asked him to come up with a story of his own.
“That’s when I wrote Kotha Bangaru Lokam, a college story, drawing inspiration from my own real-life incidents,” says Srikanth, whose directorial debut, starring newbies Varun Sandesh and Shwetha Basu Prasad, was very well-received by the Telugu audiences. Next up in his career was a big challenge. SVSC was being termed as the comeback of multi-starrers in Tollywood.
“When I wrote the story, I felt that it would reach out to people only if the movie stars big actors. I first approached Venkatesh, who readily agreed to do the movie. Then, Mahesh Babu too came on board. I told both of them that they are playing two regular people in the film. I saw them as two characters and not stars,” says Srikanth, who reveals that many parts of this movie too were based on real-life instances. “Except Prakash Raj and Anjali’s roles, most of the things shown in the movie either happened to me or around me. I also have a brother and that inspired this story of brothers.
I like to bring an element of reality and human emotions into my stories. SVSC explored the smaller joys of life like the magic of a genuine smile, the love and bonding within a family and more… everyone relates to these basic human emotions,” he says. After the film became a blockbuster, Srikanth headed on a quiet retreat to his village to spend time with his family and start work on his next script. “I always like writing my scripts at home and familiar places nearby. Observing families and real people upclose adds colour to my stories,” he says.
Srikanth still visits the library in the village like before, but more and more people recognise him now. “People from my village and those who have seen me from childhood are very thrilled with what I have made of my life. But they never treat me differently. That’s why, this will always be home,” he says.
Interestingly, Srikanth’s love story in a way, inspired Samantha and Mahesh’s romantic track in the movie. “Just like in the film, I met my wife, who is a distant relative, at a wedding and instantly fell in love with her,” he says. The director later got married in a low-key ceremony in his village after the release of his debut, Kotha Bangaru Lokam. “It was a quiet wedding that happened at the same time NTR Jr got married. Stars hit red carpet as Oscar time approaches

red carpet as Oscar time Stars hit red carpet as Oscar time approachesHollywood’s glitziest night got under way Sunday as this year’s Academy Awards nominees hit the red carpet, with actresses Jessica Chastain and Amy Adams and closing-number performer Kristin Chenoweth among the early arrivals.
Chastain, a best-actress contender for ‘Zero Dark Thirty,’ blew a kiss to cheering fans, who chanted ‘Jessica!’ Composer Mychael Danna, a dual nominee for the score and theme song to “Life of Pi,” joked with red-carpet host Chris Connelly that he was keeping his acceptance speeches in separate pockets of his tuxedo.
Keeping them straight, Danna said, “is one of the reasons I won’t be having any cocktails before I go in.”
Chef Wolfgang Puck showed off some of the food he’ll be serving at the Governors Ball after the show, including baked potatoes with caviar, chicken pot pie with truffle and Kobe steak.
“It’s going to be the greatest party ever,” Puck said.
A giant black-and-white photo of Oscar host Seth MacFarlane towered over the carpet, and some of his family also were among early arrivals, including his sister and father, who wore a green plaid kilt.
“It’s not going to be too over the top,” said MacFarlane’s sister Rachel of her sibling’s gig.
Fans have pondered how far MacFarlane the impudent creator of “Family Guy,” might push the normally prim and proper Oscars.
MacFarlane may be a wild card, but as for the show itself, predictability could be the Academy Awards’ middle name. This time looks the same, with clear favorites in the main categories.
So Oscar organizers hope they’ve assembled a show that will be good time on its own performance merits, with wily, bawdy writer, director, animator, singer and all-around vocal talent MacFarlane as host and a ceremony packed with song and dance.
The awards themselves do hold some potential firsts and other rarities.
Ben Affleck’s “Argo” looks like it will be an uncommon film to claim best picture without a directing nomination, while “Lincoln” filmmaker Steven Spielberg and star Daniel Day-Lewis are favored to join exclusive lists of three-time Oscar winners.
If some longshots came in, the night could produce two more three-time acting winners – Sally Field from “Lincoln” and Robert De Niro for “Silver Linings Playbook.”
There’s also a chance of the oldest or youngest acting winner ever – 86-year-old “Amour” star Emmanuelle Riva and 9-year-old Quvenzhane (Kwa-VEHN-ja-nay) Wallis of “Beasts of the Southern Wild.”
The ABC broadcast itself could set some fresh highs or lows. Oscar overseers keep talking about pacing and trimming fat from a ceremony that’s dragged on interminably, approaching four and a half hours one year. Can they keep it tight and lively enough that viewers don’t think about gouging out their eyes around the three-hour mark?
And what about host MacFarlane? He’s a classy, low-key guy in person, with an old-fashioned Sinatra-style singing voice that he’ll no doubt put to use in a show that’s shaping up as a music-heavy, Broadway-style celebration of cinema.
Yet MacFarlane’s career is built on pushing the envelope – or crumpling it and tossing it in the trash – as he’s tested the boundaries of good taste with such brazen shows as his animated series “Family Guy” and last summer’s F-bomb-laden blockbuster “Ted,” which earned him a songwriting Oscar nomination.
The result could be a fun night for younger, hipper TV audiences that Oscar organizers are courting but a crude awakening for traditionalists who like their Academy Awards to lean more toward the sacred than the profane. Or it could be that MacFarlane makes the most of the thankless task of shepherding the Oscars, striking a nice balance between respecting Hollywood and poking it in the eye.
“I think a little bit of that injected into the mix will go a long way, but I do also have to be mindful, in this instance, of not losing the audience that’s there every year,” MacFarlane said amid a hectic rehearsal schedule. “It’s a different audience from my own, but I do have to be respectful that they will be watching.”
So maybe it’s an Oscar show that’s shaken, but not stirred up too much. That might suit one of the evening’s special honorees, British super-spy James Bond, whose adventures will be the subject of a tribute to mark the 50th anniversary of his first big-screen outing in “Dr. No.” Adele will perform her Oscar-nominated title tune to last year’s Bond tale “Skyfall,” while the show features Shirley Bassey, who sang the Bond theme songs for “Goldfinger,” “Diamonds Are Forever” and “Moonraker.”
The show presents a salute to movie musicals of the last decade, with “Chicago” Oscar winner Catherine Zeta-Jones and “Dreamgirls” winner Jennifer Hudson joining “Les Miserables” cast members that include best-actor nominee Hugh Jackman, supporting-actress front-runner Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter and Amanda Seyfried.
Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have lined up a bubbly mix of young and old Hollywood as presenters, performers and special guests – from Barbra Streisand, Michael Douglas and Jane Fonda to “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe, “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart, and Robert Downey Jr. and his superhero colleagues from “The Avengers.”
Along with front-runners Day-Lewis as best actor for “Lincoln” and Hathaway as supporting actress for “Les Miserables,” the other favorites are Jennifer Lawrence as best actress for “Silver Linings Playbook” and Tommy Lee Jones as supporting actor for “Lincoln.”
Affleck’s thriller “Argo” is in line for best picture after winning practically every top prize at earlier honors. Hollywood was shocked that Affleck was snubbed for a directing nomination, possibly earning the film some sympathy votes, particularly from actors, who love it when one of their own succeeds behind the camera.
The story of how Hollywood, Canada and the CIA teamed up to rescue six Americans during the Iranian hostage crisis, “Argo” would become just the fourth film in 85 years to claim the top prize without a best-directing nomination and the first since 1989′s “Driving Miss Daisy.”
The best-picture prize typically ends the Oscar show, but this time, MacFarlane and Chenoweth will perform a closing number on the Dolby Theatre stage that producers Zadan and Meron called a “`can’t miss’ moment.”
Keeping the wraps on whatever surprises they have in store has been a chore for them and MacFarlane.
“It’s been difficult. The press, as you know, is very nosy and sneaky. They’re always sniffing around trying to get any advance notice,” MacFarlane said. “It’s like (expletive) Christmas. Wait till Christmas morning. Don’t spoil the surprise.”

Settai has no controversial scenes: Director Kannan

Settai movie release date Settai has no controversial scenes: Director KannanVishwaroopam faced a certain kind of problem while Settai might face a different kind of problem.
An actor who read the script was startled because there were so much vulgar words. The actor who read the script instead of keeping quite has spilled the beans.
The result, the Censor Board members are eagerly waiting for this film.
When asked about this to the director Kannan, he said, “In Hindi it was like that. In Tamil we cannot replicate that.
So there will be comedy scenes in this film. There will be no controversial scenes in this film. Some of the scenes in the original version cannot be avoided in this film. So we have cleverly manipulated these scenes in this film in such a way that it will not raise any objections.”
In a conversation with director Kannan:
It seems that Arya has asked Anjali’s mother to wear Churidhar instead of wearing sari at the shooting spot. I am not denying this. It is true. Arya in real life is a jolly good guy. Anjali was also there. Arya is a playful kid.
Just leave this matter. Don’t involve me in any problem. There is information that Nayanthara used to come to the shooting spots to meet Arya? I don’t know where you get these kinds of information.
I have not seen her in Settai shooting spots. Maybe she would have met him in some other film’s shooting. If you ask Arya he will not tell the truth.
Neetu Chandra who was donning heroine roles has danced for a song in this film? She is donning the role of an actress. She dances for a duet song in the film she is acting. Only thing is, there will be a little glamour in this song.

Prakash Jha is impressed by Kareena Kapoor’s acting prowess

kareena kapoor in satyagrah Prakash Jha is impressed by Kareena Kapoor’s acting prowessActress Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently shooting for Prakash Jha’s latest directorial venture ‘Satyagraha’ in Bhopal and the actress has impressed the veteran filmmaker with her amazing acting abilities.
Apparently, it’s the first time when Kareena and Prakash are doing a film together and the director is having a great time working with the superstar actress.
He says, “Kareena is a revelation. I have worked with all my other principle actors Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and Ajay Devgn before.”
Prakash also seems to be quite impressed by Kareena’s acting prowess. “This is the first time I am working with Kareena. She is a wonderful actress,” utters Prakash praising Kareena.
Interestingly, the film has many scenes which require Kareena to shoot with a large crowd. Even though she has done many films in her career, it is the first time Kareena is shooting amongst this many people.
However, Prakash informs that Kareena remains unaffected by the present of the mob and she in fact easily mingles with them.
“Kareena shows no reservations about mingling with the masses. She is a natural born actress,” Prakash tells.
In ‘Satyagraha’, Kareena is playing a role of a journalist and her character is said to be on the lines of CNN’s Christiane Amanpour. The film is scheduled to release on August 15.

Academy Awards 2013: 85th Annual Oscars Could Make History

Academy Awards 2013 Academy Awards 2013: 85th Annual Oscars Could Make HistorySome firsts and other rarities are possible at Sunday night’s Academy Awards. But if the Oscars could be just a little less predictable, the show might really be one for the record books.

Jacqueline Fernandez doing item number with Prabhu Deva

Jacqueline Fernandez1 Jacqueline Fernandez doing item number with Prabhu DevaActress Jacqueline Fernandez is the latest actress in Bollywood to shake a leg with ace choreographer Prabhu Deva for an item song in his upcoming directorial venture.
Earlier, Sonakshi Sinha did an item number `Go Go Govinda` with Prabhu Deva in `Oh My God`, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar did the `Chinta Ta Chita Chita` song in `Rowdy Rathore`, Salman Khan and Govinda danced with him in `Jalwa` from `Wanted` and even Madhuri Dixit shook a leg with him in `Que Sera Sera` song from `Pukar`.
Now, for Prabhu Deva`s next directorial venture `Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya`, Jacqueline will be doing a song titled – `Jaadu Ki Jhappi De De Tu Abhi`.
“We have Prabhu Deva, Jacqueline and Girish (leading hero of the film) doing a special song `Jaadu Ki Jhappi De De Tu Abhi`. It is a travel song but not like `Chaiyyan Chaiyyan`, it is very different,” producer Kumar Taurani told reporters.
Taurani will be launching his son Girish as an actor with `Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya`.
The song has been shot in Punjab. “The song is very much a part of the film. It has not been added for promotional reasons. The boy (Girish) goes from city to village in search of his love, this is where the song appears in the film,” Taurani said.
The film, also starring Shruti Haasan, is likely to release on June 7 this year.

Kristen Stewart Limps on Injured Foot at Oscar Rehearsals

Kristen Stewart4 Kristen Stewart Limps on Injured Foot at Oscar RehearsalsIt’s hard to ever get jaded — even for biggest, brightest A-listers — about the Academy Awards. On Saturday, Feb. 23, a who’s-who of Hollywood stars converged upon the Dolby Theatre (many of them dressed way down) to rehearse their presentations and performances ahead of Sunday night’s Oscars telecast, to be broadcast on ABC at 8:30 p.m. EST.
Among those cracking jokes and marveling at the imminent spectacle, according to the Associated Press: Jessica Chastain, Meryl Streep, Ben Affleck, Reese Witherspoon, Richard Gere, Jennifer Aniston, Octavia Spencer, John Travolta, Nicole Kidman, Jack Nicholson, Halle Berry, Jane Fonda and the reunited cast of Chicago (Gere, Renee Zellweger, Queen Latifah and Catherine Zeta-Jones).
In typical casual gear of jeans, sneakers and a baseball cap, Robert Pattinson’s love Kristen Stewart appeared for her presentation — and, the AP reports, appeared to be limping on her right foot from an unexplained recent injury.
Said Argo director Affleck, 40, while checking out the empty seats: “This is like the most memorable aspect of the Oscars . . . You see all these place cards (at rehearsal), then you come back and they’re all here!” Best actress nominee Chastain, 33, chuckled at her place card: “Oh, wow. That’s a very dramatic picture of me.”
Kidman, 45, brought husband Keith Urban and older daughter Sunday Rose, 4, who watched The Hours actress rehearse her segment from the audience. Fellow Best Actress winner Berry, 46, tripped during her rehearsal. “Woohoo!” Berry said, redoing her entrance with a fall. “Made it.”
