1. Katrina Kaif
Of course coming in at number one is the lovely Katrina Kaif.
Why?
Because everyone loves her!
Katrina was voted the "Hottest Woman in the World" by Eastern Eye in 2010, which isn’t anything new because she was voted number one in 2008 and 2009 as well.
In 2010 she had the films 7 Days in Paris, Raajneeti and Tees Maar Khan come out and in 2011 she already has Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Dostana 2 ready to go.
Also in 2010, Kat won the Star Screen Awards for Entertainer of the year and the Stardust Award for Best Actress - Popular Award for New York and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
And in 2011, she has already won the 2011: Star Screen Award for Best Actress and the Apsara Award for Hindustan Times Reader's Choice Female Entertainer of the Year.

2. Aishwarya Rai
The woman that used to dominate all these top ten lists comes in at number two.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had five films released in 2010, Raavan, Raavanan, Enthiran, Action Replayy and Guzaarish.
And although Katrina comes in as more popular, Ash was nominated for and won several awards last year including the Filmfare Best Actress Award for Guzaarish, the Star Screen Award Best Actress also for Guzaarish, BIG Star - Film Actor of Decade (Female),
BIG Star - Most Entertaining Film Actor (Female) for Guzaarish again and the Zee Cine Critics' Best Actor Award- Female For (guess what) Guzaarish.

3. Kareena Kapoor
Number three on this list, but far from an "also ran" (Ash just barely beat her) is Kareena Kapoor.
Kareena released three films in 2010, Milenge Milenge, We Are Family (that got her nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress) and Golmaal 3 (that got her nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress).
In 2011, she will be releasing the Hindi science-fiction superhero film Ra.One, the action-thriller film Agent Vinod and Short Term Shaadi.
By the way, Ra.One will have music by Hans Zimmer and rapper Akon.

4. Priyanka Chopra
Indian actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra comes in at number four.
Priyanka was in three films in 2010, Pyaar Impossible, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (as herself in a cameo) and Anjaana Anjaani.
Only appearing in three films in 2010, she is un-loading in 2011 with five films already set, 7 Khoon Maaf, Don 2 - The Chase Continues (which is the sequel to the 2006 film, Don: The Chase Begins Again, which was a remake of the 1978 film Don), Barfee, Agneepath and Alibaba Aur 41 Chor.
Priyanka was nominated for several awards in 2010 including the Filmfare Best Actress Award for Kaminey, the Star Screen Award for Best Actress for Kaminey, the Star Screen Award Best Actress for What's Your Raashee? and the IIFA Best Actress Award for Kaminey.

5. Mallika Sherawat
You either love her or hate her, but she was loved enough that Mallika Sherawat came in at number five.
Hisss finally opened on October 22nd in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on November 12th.
It opened to less than stellar reviews.
Fun in the Army also came out in 2010, but I don’t think anyone paid any attention to that.
Mallika is striking back though in 2011 with Politics of Love, F.A.L.T.U and Double Dhamaal.

6. Asin
Asin Thottumkal comes in at number six.
And that's pretty good considering Asin hasn’t released a Bollywood film since 2009's London Dreams.
Asin's Tamil film Kaavalan opened on January 15th to fairly decent reviews, and she has the upcoming Bollywood comedy film Ready also coming out in 2011.

8. Kajol
Kajol only had three films released in 2010, but at least one made a mark.
My Name Is Khan got Kajol nominated for the Filmfare Best Actress Award and the film itself broke box office records, and became the highest-grossing Bollywood film ever overseas.
It is currently the tenth highest grossing Bollywood film ever.

9. Bipasha Basu
Coming in at number nine is Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu.
You know, if she ever decided to become a boxer or a wrestler that would be an awesome ring name!
Anyway, Bipasha had three films come out in 2010, Pankh, Lamhaa and Aakrosh.
For 2011, she has three more films set, Dum Maro Dum, Players (a remake of The Italian Job) and Singularity (with Josh Hartnett and Neve Campbell).
In 2010, Bipasha was nominated for the Star Screen Award Best Actress popular choice category for her role in All The Best.

10. Preity Zinta
And last but not least we have Preity Zinta.
Despite not having appeared in a film since Main Aurr Mrs Khanna in 2009, Preity came in at number ten.
Preity will be changing all that though with the release of Har Pal, starring herself, Shiney Ahuja, Isha Koppikar and Dharmendra.
Although Har Pal has been in the works since 2007...
Preity didn’t get any award wins or nominations in 2010, but she did get an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from the University of East London.
It was awarded to her because of her cultural contributions, and due to her humanitarian work.
