It is known that Gautham Menon directed Neethane En Ponvasantham and Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki are slated for a grand release on 14th of December.
Censor of both NEP and Kumki are taking place today and the makers are keen to combat at the box-office on December 14th. While Kumki marks the debut of Vikram Prabhu, son of veteran actor Prabhu, Neethane En Ponvasantham casts Jeeva, Samantha and Santhanam in the lead roles.
Gautham Menon, who is known for his penchant for making romantic movies, filmed NEP simultaneously in Telugu as Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu with Nani in the lead under RS Infotainment and Photon Kathaas banners. Interestingly Studio Green, who have bought the distribution rights of Kumki from N. Lingusamy of Thirupathi Brothers have dubbed the movie into Telugu and planning for simultaneous release.
Entertainingly the audios of Kumki/Gajaraju composed by D. Imman and Ilayaraja’s comeback NEP/YVM are topping the charts in Tamil as well as Telugu, confirms Sony Music.
