In 2012, Hindi film industry had several bulk releases, which
resulted in loss and failure most of the time. Bollywood does not seem
to have learnt a lesson from it. It has begun the year 2013 with
multiple film like Table No 21, Dehraadun Diary, Dekha Jo Pehli Baar,
Meri Shadi Karao and Rajdhani Express and except Table No 21 all of them
have opened to a poor show at the Indian Box Office.
Table No 21, Dehraadun Diary, Dekha Jo Pehli Baar, Meri Shadi Karao and Rajdhani Express, which lacked strong names to lure the crowd, had a very cold response in the initial shows, While others did not any improvement, Paresh Rawal starrer Table No 21 witnessed a slight growth in its business in the subsequent shows on the first day.
Its collection is expected to see a big jump at the Box Office over the weekend. While Dehraadun Diary, Dekha Jo Pehli Baar, Meri Shadi Karao and Rajdhani Express have proved roadblocks, Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 remained as the first choice for many film goers. Though it might face competition from Table No 21, it is likely to rock the show at the Box Office in the third weekend too. Stay locked to this space to read latest Box Office updates.
