Kamal Hassan’s Vishwaroopam, which is facing stiff opposition for its
release on Direct-To-Home (DTH) format, is not only one of the biggest
films of Tamil film industry but also a mega-budget film made in the
Indian film circuit. With the budget reaching close to 100 crores, the
movie bosses of the multilingual film are expecting to make huge
business at Box Office.
The theatrical, DTH, satellite rights and other rights have already generated a good revenue for the producers. According to Kamal Hassan, Vishwaroopam is made with the budget of Rs 95 crores and he wants the film to make 100 percent profit for the makers of the film. Speaking to the NDTV, he said,
I expect a profit of 100 percent from Vishwaroopam for which it has to collect 350 crores that includes theatrical and DTH,” Meanwhile, Kamal Hassan has filed a complained to police. He has been receiving threats that the movie would be pirated and power supply to the cinemas screening will be suspended
