Vishesh Bhatt’s murder mystery opened to a good response and has managed to earn Rs 4.52 crores on day one
Vishesh Bhatt can breathe a sigh of relief! The young filmmaker’s conviction to take forward the hit Murder franchise worked wonders. Like his father Mukesh and uncle Mahesh Bhatt, Vishesh too has proved that he’s talented enough to create a musical entertainer.
The Vishesh Films latest presentation starring Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sara Loren witnessed 30 to 40 percent occupancy on Friday morning but more footfalls came in as the day progressed. “Murder 2 was an Emraan Hashmi film designed to appeal to single screen audiences. Murder 3 is a woman-centric film. It appeals to families,” Mahesh Bhatt tweeted.
In the nutshell, Murder 3 has had a decent start despite the absence of Bhatts blue-eyed boy, Emraan Hashmi. That doesn’t take away Randeep’s popularity among the masses and the figure is expected to show a rise in collections on Saturday and Sunday. Made on a minimal budget (Rs 5 crores reportedly), Bhatts have little to worry about as the film has already fetched them a substantial chunk of investments through satellite and music rights.
