The youth, both boys and girls, were seriously warned not to observe
or participate in Valentine Day celebrations on February 14.
This warning was issued by leaders of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bhajrang Dal on Saturday on the occasion of releasing the “Ban Valentine Day” poster and pamphlets.
Speaking on the occasion, VHP city president Bandaru Satyanarayan and Bhagyanagar Bhajrang Dal convenor Bharat Vamsi have asked the youth not to adopt the western culture, which was being encouraged by the capitalists to promote their business. The Indian social and cultural heritage was being trampled upon by the present-day youth, who were falling into the trap of the western culture, they observed. If any one is seen in pubs and any public places with their girl friends will be forced for a marriages or will be slapped by the girls….They added
Meanwhile, Rights organisation approached Human rights commission to take up the case and give protection against these organisations . If any marriages were conduced by these organisation will nor be a valid one.
