Movie Details, 3G Movie Movie Cast, 3G movie Trailer
Although the lead actors look super scared, the digital poster of 3G fails to send the chills down our spine. And it’s the ‘in your face’ effects that doesn’t impress us much
Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan’s 3G, shot in the idyllic Fiji islands, is a horror flick that’s slated to release on March 15, 2013. The first look poster shows a callous hand smeared in blood breaking through the screen of a mobile phone. And the lead pair – Neil and Sonal look all scared and nervous, while the tagline ‘A killer connection’ pops up on the screen.
But the poster looks very average and doesn’t pique our interest. Bollywood is not exactly known for doing justice to scary nail-biting flicks. In an effort to spice it up and make it commercial, the makers often fail to notice how clichéd their films tend to get. Shantanu Ray and Sheershak Anand’s 3G is about a couple who become a victim of a series of unfortunate events after they buy a 3G enabled phone while holidaying in Fiji. The concept sounds very run-of-the-mill already, but still we will wait to see if the treatment is good enough to make this film stand out. What’s your take, readers?
