Amitabh Bachchan praises the crowd of Bhopal

Amitabh Bachchan is at present in Bhopal, shooting for Prakash Jha’s upcoming movie ‘Satyagraha’. He arrived at the city on Valentine’s Day (14^th February 2013) and is expected to drop anchor there for at least next 3 months. Incidentally it is the city of his in-laws as well. The parents and sister of Jaya Bachchan are settled in Bhopal. Speaking about this he has written in his blog that, “It is going to be a start to finish film, so ‘home’ away from home shall be the city of Bhopal, the ‘son-in-law’s’ city. The ‘jamai’ as they are known in most languages of the country.”
No wonder then that the city of Bhopal holds a special place in the heart of the actor. Recently he is all praises for the crowd of Bhopal. Big B wrote in his blog "The co-operation of the people of Bhopal is extraordinary. Their discipline, their sense of order, their pleasant demeanours and all that a film unit would expect from an audience when shooting outdoors, is present there in abundance."
The 70 year old mega star farther added, "My salutations to the city and to the people! Thank you for your effort in allowing us to conduct our work in an atmosphere of required peace and comfort.”Is this his partiality to the town of his in-laws? We wonder.
However, Amitabh has always been comfortable in Bhopal. Relocating for 3 months at his age is not an easy task. But Amitabh himself has cleared all the doubts earlier in his blog saying that, “Setting up your room for the next three months, getting stuff from home in correct order has always been an exercise nothing less than moving house, which we all know is an arduous experience by itself. But I am happy to note that a sparse set up seems to be controllable, than one that is filled with material which is hardly used…but there.”
We hear that the entire cast and crew of ‘Satyagraha’ is having a good time at Bhopal. The shooting for the political thriller is going on smoothly. It is based on the story of the anti corruption movements in India led by Anna Hazare.
Along with senior Bachchan, the other stars that are part of the movie are Amrita Rao, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai, Ajay Devgan and Arjun Rampal.
