While Rajkumar Hirani is quite held up with his Aamir
Khan starrer 'P.K.', a question mark was hanging over his yet another
project - the third installment of Munnabhai... Of late the problem has
been solved...
According to producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the directorial reins have been passed on to Subhash Kapoor, whose film 'Jolly LLB' is waiting for its release.

Talking in an interview, the producer said that he
felt has the sensibility and the approach required to take the Munnabhai
franchise ahead. So after discussing the idea with Hirani and writer
Abhijat Joshi, decided to give Kapoor the responsibility of the
much-talked and much-delayed project.
On the other hand, Hirani apparently had writer's block while doing second half of Munnabhai 3's script. But once he finished the script of 'P.K.' his mind said to have freed and then he again took interest in Munnabhai. The film will be co-written by Joshi and Hirani.
Titled 'Munnabhai Chale Delhi', the film will have Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi taking forward their characters of Munna and Circuit respectively.
