Srikanth Addala’s debut film ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ was not a trend
setter; it was just an above average grosser. His second film ‘Seethamma
Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ may not end as biggest blockbuster, but he
made it possible to show the taste of multi-starrer with two top stars
like Venkatesh and Mahesh babu to Telugu audience.
Many think he might have pocketed plenty as remuneration for the movie, but even we shocked after knowing the pay. As per an inner source, Dil Raju paid just Rs.50 lakhs for the film. But he spent lot of money on pre-production work which carried on for 3 years.
We must value Srikanth Addala who announced to direct his next film under his break provider Dil Raju’s banner. The director will soon be launching Naga Babu’s son Varun Tej as hero. Srikanth recently narrated a story line to the Mega Brother and he got the go ahead nod. This movie will go on floors soon this year. More details are awaited.
