Kamal Haasan’s latest film ‘Vishwaroopam’ was screened in Bangalore
and Hyderabad on Saturday, a day after its scheduled release date. The
film ran into trouble after a few Muslim groups protested against the
film’s content claiming that it hurt their sentiments.
The Madras High Court ordered a stay on its release after Kamal Haasan took the matter to court calling it cultural terrorism.
A judge of the HC will watch the film on Saturday and its verdict will be delivered on Monday.
