Karthi, Kajal begin shoot for Rajesh

Director Rajesh has begun the shoot of All In All Azhaguraja (AIAA), which stars the Naan Mahaan Alla pair of Karthi and Kajal Aggarwal. The film, like the director’s earlier films, is also a comedy and will have his lucky mascot Santhanam in a crucial role.
Says a source in the unit, “The AIAA team did not want to waste the dates of Kajal, and have begun the shoot. They are filming some scenes presently in Chennai.
Later, the team will be shooting in and around Kumbakonam, Pollachi, Gobichettipalayam, Tenkasi and Ambasamuthiram. A photoshoot and a test shoot featuring the lead cast was earlier done on March 3. We hear that music director Thaman, who is teaming up with Rajesh for the first time, has completed composing for two songs.
Meanwhile, Karthi is also shooting for Venkat Prabhu’s Biriyani, which is 60 per cent complete. “He will now be shooting for both the films simultaneously,” adds the source.
