Director Sarkunam has finally found his female lead for forthcoming
Tamil film Sotta Vazhakutty. After considering a few big names like
Samantha and Hansika Motwani, he has roped in Malayalee girl Nazriya
Nazim to pair up with Dhanush. Sotta Vazhakutty is not the debut Tamil
film for Nazriya Nazim, as she had worked before in a Kollywood film Oru
Naal Oru Kanavu, which starred Srikanth and Sonia Aggarwal.
Now, she is also acting in Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, which is produced by well-known distributor-producer Aascar Ravichandran. The director has admitted that they have approached Nazriya Nazim but she is yet to sign on the dotted lines. It will be finalised in two days time. However, the project, which was supposed to take off last year, was delayed after Dhanush got busy with his debut Bollywood film Raanjhnaa.
Sotta Vazhakutty will be launched in February. Dhanush confirmed on Twitter, “Starting Sargunam s film from feb 2 nd week.it will be an out and out commercial entertainer.cant wait to do some comedy
